Is home automation worth it for a new house?
For a house under construction, wired automation adds little to the electrical work and gives a cleaner, more reliable result than adding devices later. It also lets you leave spare cabling for future additions.
Can I automate an existing home without breaking walls?
Yes. Wireless retrofit modules fit behind existing switches, and motorised curtains need only a power point near the window.
